These adjustments reflect the firm commitment of the municipal authorities to facilitate access to resources for young people, migrants and refugees and to stimulate the development of local entrepreneurship.

Essential approved changes:

  • Extension of the implementation period of the programme for the years 2025–2027
  • Increase of the maximum grant from 200,000 lei to 250,000 lei
  • Extension of eligibility criteria, including existing businesses of up to 24 months
  • Elimination of age restrictions for migrants and refugees
  • Simplification of access for refugees, by eliminating the mandatory partnership requirement
  • Update of eligible fields, including the removal of restrictions on e-commerce
  • Optimisation of the financing mechanism: grants will be awarded 100% in advance, after the 30% own contribution
